HOGA

HOGA - Horse YogaĀ classes are taught in three parts during a one-hour session: horse bodywork massage and relaxation, standing stretches for the rider (not mounted) and yoga poses done horseback.

The goal of these classes is to deepen your connection with your horse by giving them an entirely new experience with you. You become a place of calm and relaxation for the horse during these classes, a place of emotional equilibrium that horses always seek. You become someone they want to be with. Hoga is about connection, relaxation and affirming a positive relationship with your equine partner.Ā

You will learn equine bodywork massage techniques that can be used regularly to help your horse release tension in their body and improve their parasympathetic nervous system health.

As the human participant, your body awareness and breath control will also develop. You will learn standing stretches to help you feel more limber when riding and improve your flexibility. The on-horse yoga poses present a fun balance challenge while also being offered with modifications to suit rider abilities.

Hoga is a chance to be more together.
